Robert K. Whelan is Professor and Associate Dean in the College of Urban and Public Affairs at the University of New Orleans. He is co-author of Urban Policy and Politics in a Bureaucratic Age, and he has written numerous articles and book chapters. He has received awards for outstanding teaching at Georgia Tech, and at UNO. |

At present, he chairs the Planning and Zoning Commission in the City of Slidell. He is Treasurer of the American Council for Quebec Studies (ACQS), and is a member of the Council of the Association for Canadian Studies in the U.S. (ACSUS). |
